The Adaptation is called:
The Passion of Hermoine
It's presents the very heart of Act I where the jealousy and tyranny comes to a head.
We've only just begun rehearsals and we're already gaining a load of steam!
Look out for more details!

![]() The Adaptation is called: The Passion of Hermoine It's presents the very heart of Act I where the jealousy and tyranny comes to a head. We've only just begun rehearsals and we're already gaining a load of steam! Look out for more details! ![]() On the evening of February 14th, with love still in the air, I attended a last-minute audition for an opera at La Mama. I started rehearsals mid-stream the very next morning and three weeks later, I was playing Ken Burrough (and Boobie Clarke) in BUM PHILLIPS: ALL-AMERICAN OPERA at La Mama. This show is currently running, so get your tickets now! La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club March 15 – March 30, 2014 7:30pm | Thursdays – Fridays – Saturdays 2:30pm | Sundays ***Benefit Performance***March 20*** Here is a promo video produced/released by the NFL: "HOUSTON OILERS NUMBER ONE!" ![]() During the weekends in February, I was Assistant Puppeteer on Gutboy, an independent feature-length marionette film produced in connection with Standard Toykraft based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I vastly broadened my puppeteering network while working on this project, and anticipate working with this company again very soon. PS: I also auditioned for a voice-over role in the project after the shoot with finished! Fingers crossed! ![]() The weekend of February 28th to March 2nd, I played Mr Dooba Dee Doo, the oldest and wisest of all the Dooples, in this children's musical about writing utensils that come to life and learn about reading and writing and communication. The Dooples was originally a children's book written by Dr. Lynn Hunter. The music for the show was composed by Charles Mandracchia. The picture to the left is from our segment on the Today Show which aired on the morning of March 2nd. The full cast couldn't attend that morning, but our run more than sold out every night, and we anticipate another run this coming summer! ![]() This post is very retroactive I know, but stick with me and I'll bring us right up to date! On February 6th, last month, I played Luscious Lucius, a 1980's era hoodlum with his brain between his legs. It was a brief role, but a fun project with a quick turn-around. After the reading, I met Vincent Harty and Frank Bowman who were in attendance. Bowman and I discussed my puppeteering career after he discovered it was my second job title in the evening's program. He's putting me in touch with a long-standing (Coney-Island native) puppeteer Glenn A King. He also informed me of an intense new play Harty has penned involving vampires, gangsters and a mysterious Brazlian woman. I obviously mailed him my materials. |
